Having been a sufferer of anxiety and depression throughout my childhood and suffering with ‘IBS’ throughout my late teens and early 20’s it became my
‘norm’. Through the struggles I’ve faced, I can empathise and understand how these underlying health conditions can take their toll and leave you feeling helpless.
My journey through food started when I finished school and became a chef.
Through long stressful shifts, unsociable hours and reliance on fast ultra processed foods to keep me going, I quickly developed ‘IBS’ symptoms alongside my anxiety getting worse. After years of dealing with the highs and lows of these conditions, following leaving the chef industry, I slowly started taking more interest into health and wellness through my love of podcasts.
